RPGT to apply only for properties sold within five years of purchase

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak have announced on 23 Dec that the real property gains tax (RPGT) announced during the 2010 Budget will now only apply to properties sold within five years after purchasing them.



The 2010 Budget announcement previously imposed RPGT on all properties sold. 2010 Budget real property gains tax changed 281175
